  I really enjoyed seeing many of the wildflowers that you have been capturing over the years up there in Guffey, Chris; many species of which I do not see here in Colorado Springs. Thanks for sharing them with the world ... and me.
I like to shoot, also, and am particularly fond of water lillies. I have attached one for you.

  I saw these cactus flowers while I was out walking near Black Mountain. Do you know what kind of cactus this is? Response from Chris:
That's a Mountain Ball Cactus, Pediocactus simpsonii. It's one of the first bloomers in early Spring. |
