This image shows the entire event as recorded by the Cloudbait camera, approximately 125 miles west of the fireball. A video image is available here (184 KB). A second bright meteor was also seen by two cameras at 1:45 AM over nearly the same area, but traveling in the opposite direction. |

![]() Data from cameras in Guffey, Denver, and Elizabeth allow the ground paths of both meteors to be determined. The very bright event at 1:43 descended very steeply, ending over the High Plains about 30 miles northeast of Limon. |
