This comet was discovered by Hideo Nishimura in August 2023. It reached perihelion on 17 September 2023 at 0.2 AU. It is a long period comet with an estimated period of 434 year. This comet is very bright, but also close to the Sun in the sky, so it isn't seen against completely dark skies, but in twilight.
